§ 263.

ORDER DECLARING INTENTION TO RECOMMEND

The Director may make an order declaring his intention to recommend to the Board that they order a maintenance district formed.

a.

Designation of Contemplated Work. Said order declaring his intention shall refer to the items to be maintained. Said order will be sufficient if it states in general terms the items to be maintained, such as tree planting, landscaping, sidewalk, street lighting, sidewalk furniture, and other items, and gives in general the scope of the proposed maintenance district.

b.

Notice of Time of Hearing. Said order declaring the intention of the Director shall also contain a notice of the day, hour, and place when and where any and all persons having any objections to the proposed maintenance district may appear before the Director and show cause why the proposed district should not be formed in accordance with said order declaring the intention of the Director. The time shall not be less than 15 days or more than 30 days from the date of making the order.
